Every Friday, all 2nd graders have P.E. (free-play). Students play with fellow 2nd graders to practice socializing and keeping fit.
Today, we had a peanut butter sandwhich before class dismissal to practice eating healthy food. Peanut butter is an affordable source of calories. It also lower your risk of heart disease. It is also a source of protein, needed to build and repair muscles. Peanut butter contains folate, vitamin E, magnesium and resveratrol, all nutrients associated with reduced risk of heart disease.
